Corporate Partners & Grants

Conservation Volunteers is seeking to form innovative and successful partnerships with the New Zealand business community.

Current corporate supporters include Fonterra, with the Fonterra-funded 'Catchment Care' Program, and the Auckland City Council through its Community Group Accommodation Support Fund .

Through its community group accommodation support fund the Auckland City Council has assisted Conservation Volunteers with its office rental costs for the 2010 year. This fund recognises that community groups such as Conservation Volunteers make a major contribution to Auckland City.

The community group accommodation support fund was created to support eligible community groups so that their accommodation costs do not compromise their ability to deliver their services effectively.

Many opportunities exist for New Zealand businesses to take a leadership role in engaging the community in the practical conservation of natural resources.

Conservation Volunteers' capacity in delivering successful partnerships has been acknowledged in Australia as winner of both:

  • Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships
  • Australian Financial Review Magazine Awards Corporate Partnership of the Year
